Worship | |||||||
Worship at St. Philip seeks to embody the vision set forth in the Directory for Worship in the Presbyterian Church (USA):
Services follow the classic order for worship in which we offer our praises and confessions, remember God’s forgiveness and love, respond with thanksgiving and hope. Then we are sent into God’s world with renewed commitments to follow in the way of Jesus Christ. Additional midweek services enrich the seasons of Advent and Lent. |

Music | ||||||||
Music shapes our worship. Soloists and small ensembles frequently lead the services, while The St. Philip Choir sings weekly. |
Our bell choir, children’s choir, and youth choir also participate regularly. At both services the majestic Fritts organ lifts our hearts and accompanies our songs. |

Children | ||||||||
When Children participate in and lead worship they feel they are a special and beloved part of their faith community and they begin to develop their own sense of what it means to be a child of God. Opportunities abound for children and youth to take active roles in the life of worship at St. Philip as acolytes, liturgists and choir members. Please ask a pastor about these opportunities! |
Sunday Worship and Children’s Chapel Infants and children through three years of age are invited to play in the Nursery at any time during both services! |
